As many of you have heard, I have had some health challenges for the past year but am grateful that the doctor says I have no active cancer, thanks to the good Lord and Pfizer’s cancer research. So many of us have friends, family and colleagues fighting cancer, and this weekend I received this note from one of my dear friends fighting the fight.
“I had an amazing moment last night that I have to share… was about 2 am, sitting in my hospital bed in pain and just told God I wasn’t sure how much longer I could stay strong. It’d been so hard to stay positive. Not five minutes later, the respiratory therapy nurse comes in to check on me. We talked for a few minutes. On her way out, she stops and looks at me and does the sign of the cross over me. Then she came and prayed over me and said how strong I was and that things were going to get better. The timing was just incredible. We hadn’t discussed anything spiritual before that. But it was just exactly what I needed to hear from a guardian angel.”
I thought I would share this with all of you so that you can, this week, be someone’s guardian angel. Please help encourage a pal who is struggling to fight on or for that matter, a kick in the butt! I hope you can connect with someone you haven’t seen in awhile or deepen your connection with someone you see every day. Thanks for all of your encouragement and each of you are my guardian angels!
