Size and prices vary. Kanga Room Systems’ units start around $5,000 for an 80-square-foot shed kit that requires self-assembly and the prices climb from there.
Demand for these backyard sheds is growing, especially by stay-at-home workers who don’t have the space inside their home for a dedicated office. Studio Shed reports a four-fold increase in April sales year over year. You can be sure more innovative ideas and competition will be making an appearance in the market. Necessity bears fruitful ingenuity during hard times and inspires motivation as we push forward together, and ideas like the home-office shed allow us space for our own self-improvement.
