The city of Miami is about to receive the newest addition to its iconic skyline: the Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami. Upon completion, this striking luxurious skyscraper will overlook Biscayne Bay and stand more than 1,000 feet as Florida’s tallest building. Sales, being handled by developer PMG, have just launched in pre-development for the 360 private residences with starting prices sitting lavishly at $1 million.
Of course, the modern Miami homes will be decked out with the latest smart home and app services. As a resident, the digital interconnectivity of your smart home setup will provide access to plenty of amenities including concierge, room service, spa treatments, and even dog walking services. The building is also slated to include a 5-star hotel containing 205 guestrooms and suites.
The completion of the Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami will be the luxury hospitality brand’s first location in Miami. The surge in demand for homes in the Miami-Dade area seems to have played a role in the launch. According to a February report by the Miami Association of Realtors, South Florida’s popularity among high-end buyers soared last year – signaling an optimal moment for Waldorf Astoria to open sales for the new building.
Ryan Shear, managing partner of PMG, has spoken highly of the project. “We’ve been extremely thoughtful about every detail from design, technology, space and flow in every aspect of this property, from the sales gallery to the building itself, and Covid has certainly influenced this process,” Shear told Mansion Global. The concept design for the building is something to behold, comprised entirely of nine, off-set glass cubes stacked atop one another.
With Florida’s reopening from the pandemic going well and people flocking to the Sunshine State, the Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami should add a bit of modern beauty to one of Florida’s most beloved cities.
See you on the road,
Lisa
