Citizens just concluded its hour long press conference which strongly underscored that it’s a new day at Citizens with executives stressing that they are opening communications with policyholders, the media, legislators and all stakeholders involved with Citizens. In a nutshell, Citizens President Barry Gilway said, “I believe that we are making every attempt to listen, learn and improve in every aspect. Chairman LaCasa said, “we are blessed to have a talented CEO (Barry Gilway) who is demonstrated his competency and has his heart in the right place. It’s a realignment of the stars.”
